46 Indian nurses freed in Iraq, to reach home in a day

The 46 Indian nurses who were in the captivity of Sunni militants in Tikrit, Iraq, for the last one month, were freed at last. Kerala Chief Minister Oommen Chandy, who is now in Delhi, announced that they were safe and would reach Kerala tomorrow.

ISIS militants brought the nurses from Tikrit to Mosul yesterday. They will board a flight at Erbil to reach to India. Meanwhile, the relatives of the nurses in Kerala also got the good news. 

They are now happy and are eagerly

aiting for their relatives' arrival. Before their detention, these Indian nurses worked in Tikrit, home town of Saddam Hussain.
