Bengaluru blast: NIA may probe

The Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh told media persons that Centre was awaiting details about the Bengaluru blast incident and the case could be handed over to the National Investigation Agency.

He also met Union Minister for Law and Justice D V Sadananda Gowda and Union Minister for Chemicals and Fertilizers Ananthkumar in New Delhi on Monday and discussed the situation in the aftermath of the blast in Bengaluru. <


Earlier, Rajnath Singh reviewed the situation with the heads of Security and Intelligence Agencies and senior officials of home ministry. 

The Union Home Minister also spoke with the Karnataka Chief Minister S Siddaramaiah after the blast and said that Centre was ready to provide all help. Centre has suggested that CCTV cameras should be installed at public places in Bengaluru and other main cities.
