TRS-MIM honeymoon ends

The ruling party is likely to end its honeymoon with its ally MIM. Instead Chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao would seek to embrace the saffron party and ditch Asaduddin for obvious reasons, if that is the indication available.

Sources pointed out that the TRS supremo has offered to induct three BJP legislators into his cabinet in the next expansion. In return Rao wanted that his daughter and MP from Nizamabad Kavitha be i

ducted as a minister of State in the Union Government.

But Modi appears to have declined to do so for some reasons. In any case Rao has been firm on strengthening ties with the saffron party. It may be recalled that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao moved closer at the recent chief ministers’ meeting held in New Delhi.

This closeness between KCR and Modi has been attributed to the fact that Rao moved one step further to honour the newly inducted central minister and State BJP vice president Bhandaru Dattathreya in Hyderabad not long ago.

In turn Bhandaru assured KCR to do his part and work for better State-Centre relations. Picking up thread from Dattathreya KCR issued a directive to all concerned and his MPs that they should maintain cordial relations with the Centre and seek maximum financial assistance for the TS development.

as not palatable to the right wing BJP leaders, more so when TRS government maintained good relations with MIM. MIM did not see eye to eye with the State BJP leaders. Recently BJP-TDP combine opposed the MIM’s proposals on the Metro rail in the Old City
